Here looking at a cool morning scene of which the subject is taken during mid-shave.rnAgain unflattering but generating a relatable mood towards the viewer.rnrnI liked playing with the cool colours in this piece, restrain the warmth in the palatte. To give it a wet/cold and also rushed look as parts of the painting demonstrate extreme blur due to the fast movement of the hand.rnrnThe subjects expression I wanted somewhat distanced emotionlly from the viewer. Again we are prying into his personal situation and thats it. There has to be no connection emotionally to the subject.rn
