I don't know why but this painting recalls me some pietre dure works - do you know this technique? Marquetry made of stone.

I looked it up, wonderful internet. just today I was thinking of how some of my stuff is like stained glass work. only real difference is my medium is liquid when I create the image. this one especially has a mosaic sense to it.
