What is the reason of your interest in the desert?

I don\'t really know why desert interest me so much. There is this certain mystique about it I guess. And it\'s perfect when you want to show off scale (like in this picture you can see the giant ship wreck and the city below it). The desert series is just one of the fantasy worlds that I\'ve created/plan to create :)
